Hi, I’m Ashlee Sunderman

I didn’t set out to become a photographer. It all started when I moved to Montana ten years ago and fell in love with the landscapes that took my breath away, and the people who showed me how to capture change. I found myself constantly reaching for my camera, trying to capture the way the light danced across the prairie or the quiet strength in someone’s eyes. What began as a way to remember the beauty around me turned into a calling: to freeze those fleeting moments that speak volumes—about nature, about courage, about change. Range and River Photography was born from those real, raw in-between moments—the stillness before the storm, the warmth of a sunrise, the boldness of stepping into something new, and capturing courage and change in humanity.
